Sometimes we forget how fast technology moves and how it affects our lives.
Whilst clearing out some cupboards at home this weekend I found this watch (among numerous other things!). It is a late 70′s LED watch produced by Texas Instruments and was one of my most prized possessions when I was at school!
I recall at the same time I had a Sinclair calculator (a Cambridge if I remember correctly), it could only add, subtract, divide and multiply (and did weird things if you divided 1 by 0). At the same time the Sinclair ZX80 and 81 were the height of tech!
Now we have the equivalent of desk top computing power from a few years ago in our pockets, and can use the web on the move – something that would have amazed even the techies’ from the 80′s!
So why do I have such an urge to get my LED watch working again?
