Every so often I come across something that is such a good idea that I wonder why it is not a common thing. My experience is that visiting other countries is an excellent source of this type of insight and today provided one such event.
We visited Parma in Italy and had to find a car park, my usual choice when in a hot country is an underground car park as it keeps the car cooler (and if truth be known they are more common anyway). Car park found, we entered to find rows of coloured LED’s over the spaces – very pretty, but with a purpose.
Empty spaces had a green LED over, occupied spaces a red one. Disabled was coloured blue. What a brilliant idea! Finding a space is so much easier!
