Why is it when something gets through supposedly strict quality control systems that we initially feel robbed but then are strangely pleased at having something ‘special’?
Tonight while helping to sort out our Ocado delivery I picked up the tin in the photo – Marvel instant skimmed milk powder (for use in our bread maker). I commented to my wife that it was amazing how light it was, and then we realised that it actually sounded empty – despite being fully sealed!
Opening it proved it to be exactly that – empty! What are the chances of that with the modern control systems in food factories?
